Poetry Prompt: It's so... RANDOM!

Things have been chaotic in the world lately. Senseless violence confronts us in the news nearly every day. I don't know about you, but I need a break. I need to do something different, something light to pull me out of the dark funk I find myself in from following the latest headlines.

So let's play! The toys we will use are words. You can find words anywhere you choose. You can pull random words from p.37 line 4 of the first 5 books you grab. Or you can use one of these online word generators to give you a list of random words.

The Prompt: Take a list of 5-10 random words and weave them into a poem. Challenge yourself with a specific poetic form from our favorite resource, Shadow Poetry. Or craft them into your own unique free verse or even invent a new form! Most of all, HAVE FUN!
