Keeping Poetry Simple - OctPoWriMo 2016 Countdown

I like to keep things simple for OctPoWriMo, if there are too many rules or things get too complicated within a poetry form, I tend to move on to something else. For me keeping things simple with poetry means that I often choose a word from a book to write a poem or work with my magnets like I did again this morning.

Playing with my magnets.
I tend to write free form though I've been known to write Haiku, The Blitz, Rhyme (self explanatory), Shape poetry and I do favor the Acrostic, oh and for some reason I seem to love counting and playing with syllables. I've experimented with others but for the most part those are where I tend to play with words.

Do you have a favorite poetry form and if you do, what is it?
