Poetry Prompts Day 3 - OctPoWriMo 2016



When Morgan asked me which prompts I wanted to write this month, this one was a no-brainer for me. After all, my favorite color is rainbow glitter!

Once I got past my obvious attraction to this topic, I generated a list of other things that SPARKLE. For the prompt today, I offer you these images (all from publicdomainpictures.net).

Amy McGrath is a former math teacher turned poet and visual artist. She is a Studio Art major at Tidewater Community College and plans to pursue this new passion through to the MFA level. Her favorite mediums are metal and wire, glass, soft pastels, oil and acrylic paint, and (of course) words. She is also active in her local theater community. She has two sons (17 and 11) and she lives in Chesapeake, Virginia, with her very patient husband.
