If you participate offline I hope you'll come back and let us know how it is going for you by commenting on our daily posts.
***Three days without participation on your blog and you may be removed from the list.
Thank you, Morgan. I plan to "do better" this year. xoA
ReplyDeleteHi Annis! I've decided to write my poetry in my journal this year and focus the rest of my attention on the participants. I'm sure you are going to do just great! *Hugs*
DeleteAre we supposed to write our poems based on the prompts you send or are the prompts for just in case we're stuck?
ReplyDeleteI'm game for trying this either way. :)
It is whatever works for you, our prompts or your own inspiration. Glad to have you along. =D
DeleteThank you! I am looking forward to this challenge and have shared it with others, too. Have a blessed day. :)
DeleteLooking forward to trying the discipline of a poem a day for October. I did do a poem a day for April last year and managed to get through. It's good to have the motivation ...x
ReplyDeleteHi Marian, Glad you decided to join us!
DeleteI loved doing this last year and can't wait for this year! Thanks for offering it again!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it so much last year and will be joining us again, Camille!
DeleteI was wavering a bit but love the process of reflection and writing. Most of the time I'm writing fiction so it's a pleasure to be with everyone (and you, Annis, Marian, and Morgan) to write and share our poetry.
ReplyDeleteYay! So glad you'll be joining us, Beth!
DeleteYay, Beth! Looking forward to this time together. xoA
DeleteI so enjoyed the prompts last year and am glad to be back! Thanks, Morgan!
ReplyDeleteYay! Happy to hear it!
DeleteSo excited to participate this year. Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteGlad to have you along for the poetic journey!
DeleteI've run a little dry on poetry...maybe this will perk me up.
ReplyDeleteI hope it will, Anna, I know it stirs up my muse facilitating and participating OctPoWriMo. Happy to have you on this adventure!
DeleteYay, Anna! Let's encourage each other. xoA
DeleteThanks for being such a great cheerleader, Annis!
DeleteI'll be joining you all and I think some of my Wordpress blogger/poet friends will join too judging by our twitter convos 😊
ReplyDeleteYay! The more the merrier!
DeleteThanks for the invite Melinda!! I appreciate you and Annie bringing me into the fold :-)
DeleteHave NaNoWriMo'd twice and am OctPoWriMoing for the first time this year! Looking forward to it :)
ReplyDeleteHi Bianca, Glad to have you along for the poetic journey!
DeleteHi Morgan! I am excited to do this! :) Looking forward to the prompts! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemarie, Glad to hear it! I'm looking forward to it as well!
DeleteThanks for referring me over here, Rosemarie!
DeleteI'm in, looking forward to it:)
ReplyDeleteYay! Glad to here it!
DeleteI didn't know until OctPoWriMo until today, but I've been planning my own blog series connected with the hashtag #31poems for the month of October! I'll be sharing daily inspiration and motivation in the form of suggested exercises and prompts, and will include a poem I've written in response the prompts every day as well. How fun to find that you all here are doing something similar!
ReplyDeleteHi Jordan, I started OctPoWriMo in 2011 and we've been having it every year since. Glad you found us.
DeleteI do not have much experience with poetry, but am looking forward to joining all of you!
ReplyDeleteNo worries, you don't need experience to write poetry. As we like to say here, poetry is playing with your words until you breathe life into them. Glad to have you along for the journey!
DeleteDo we have any kind of Facebook group so we can all communicate? I think it'd be awesome to be able to talk during the month and motivate each other! I'm so excited to start!
ReplyDeleteHi Marina, Yes we do have a Facebook page I must have missed putting it in this post. You can find it here, https://www.facebook.com/groups/WritingPoetryGroup/
DeleteI look forward to seeing you there!
Pls remove my nam from the list, #33 Tressa (I'm taking an art class and am going to concentrate on that). Good writing all!
ReplyDeleteHave fun in your art class, Tressa, maybe you'll join us during the year for some of our other prompts. Your link has been removed.
DeleteI didn't see a prompt. Where did I miss it?
ReplyDeleteI see you found it. Not sure why you weren't able to see it on the home page but that is where it is every night at midnight (or sometimes a few minutes later when I'm running late with it). Happy Writing!
DeleteHello! Thank you for hosting! I'm joining at the last minute and realized I put in a link to my post for today versus my website. Can that be fixed to be my blog: bikurgurl.com? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLate entry, but I'm in! Glad to find OctPoWriMo!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you opened the registration back up. I just posted 1-4 on my blog, so I'm caught up now.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting -- first year and adding an image of mine with my posts :-)
ReplyDeleteI am confused about where to put my poem links. Is participation closed? I just found this from your blog. I didn't relize I needed to " Sign up" by certain date! I have tried putting my blog links intomthe daily comments, but it won't take them. Maybe because I didn't sign up in time?
ReplyDeleteBeing on this link up shouldn't have anything to do with linking in comments of each days post. I'm sorry you've had trouble with it but I did see your link in today's comments. Thank you for keep trying.
DeleteMorgan, I decided to go rogue and write about my collage process instead of poetry. I am trying to join my words with art. I hope the rest of OctoPoWriMo goes well for you and the rest of the crew :D
