NaPoWriMo - Time

We are halfway through NaPoWriMo, are you reading and writing poetry everyday or periodically like I am? I get so caught up in day to day life that I let things get in the way of my poetry. I was hoping I'd be better at it this time but I never seem to be able to do it every single day. Not berating myself though, just noticing.

Be kind to yourself on this journey of life.

diving into the depths
words flow
gently and
explosively
onto the page

***

broken questions
between whispers
begin a dance
of a universal language
exploring magic
in a rainbow sky
naked desire
in a blazing heart
soul prisoner
love's searching
time

Poetry Prompts -

“There is no work-life balance. We have one life. What's most important is that you be awake for it.” ― Janice Marturano

April was a month filled to the brim and then some; so many changes, so many things to do, and very little time for peace. Balance is something I have always struggled with and I've decided that is a perfect topic for this week's prompt as I'm going to delve into what it really means for me.

Poetry Prompts:

Write for ten minutes asking what balance means to you, how balanced or unbalanced your life is, and/or what feels balanced to you.

Or...

Write about balance in nature, where you see it and/or feel it.

Word Prompts:

Balancing
Stability
Equilibrium

Possible poetry type: Etheree

Peace,
