We believe there are no rules for poetry, only playing with words until you breathe life into them.

January Poetry Mini-Challenge: Prompt #3 - Big
Welcome to day 3 of the January Mini-Challenge! If you're new to this challenge, just jump right in. No previous experience necessary and no need to go back to the earlier days of the challenge (unless you just WANT to, of course!)
On Monday, I assured you that there was a "theme" for the week that would be made known on Friday. If you're trying to guess what it is, today's prompt might help. For the past two days, we've written about "cold" and "hot". Today, I'd like us to think "BIG".
What comes to mind for you when you hear the word "big"? Jot down a few thoughts in a free write, then start playing with your words and see where it leads you.
Poetry Prompt: Write a "BIG" poem. Big doesn't have to mean lengthy, but it can. Or write about a BIG idea or something that is physically BIG. It's your poem, write it your way!
Word Prompt: (you guessed it!) BIG

Thanks again for visiting us here at Poets on the Page. Please share a link to your poem in the comment section and take a moment to read some of the other posts. See you tomorrow!
