“We swallowed the chaos because we knew we didn't want to be ordinary.” ― Robert M. Drake
I was perusing PublicDomainPictures.net to see if I could find anything to inspire today's post and I came upon the photo below. I found it so intriguing, There was obviously a storm coming or going and the sun low in the sky, either early morning or late evening.
I've always been drawn to the between such as this, between light and dark, or the light between the dark. Betweens such as, between night and day, this world and the next, heaven and earth. You can find poetry just about anywhere.
Do you gravitate toward a theme; is there a general theme to your poetry? Or, do you write about all sorts of topics?
