How are you faring with this daily challenge? Me? Not so good. I am writing this post on my phone in my flooded apartment in Chesapeake, Virginia. Hurricane Matthew was brutal here and we lost 2 vehicles, a piano, and numerous other personal items. It could have been far worse and my heart is heavy for those who fared worse than we did. If you were impacted, then this prompt is coming at a perfect time!

I hope that helps. You don't have to do this, it is only if you would like to make your link an active link.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for the damage that you have suffered. You're in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteHere is my post for the day:
OctPoWriMo Day 12
I'm really sorry you are having to deal with the damage from the storm. I experienced the flooding in Boulder, Colorado in 2013 and it left me with some PTSD. I was angry with myself because my home wasn't really damaged, but I was driving when my car was hit by a wall of water. I managed to stay on the road, but it left me shaken. It made it hard to write for a while after that. I was never really sure why.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear you were caught in Matthew's aftermath. But glad overall you're okay!
ReplyDeleteStrong
Very , very sorry for your loss, praying for more power and strength your way.

ReplyDeleteI love this prompt. As I live in Canada, I wasn't affected by the storm, but I am sorry that you were. I did a rhyming blitz poem today: Sing of Care.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you. Thank you for keeping this going with all your troubles!
